How many years in the sport/industry?

When you were a kid, were there any early activities that might indicate you’d one day become a skydiver?
The opening skydiving scene in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers movie piqued my interest in becoming a skydiver at a very young age.
What was the circumstance that led you to make your very first skydive?
It was either skydiving or receiving my scuba cert and there are many more inherent risks involved with scuba diving.
What made you want to continue skydiving after your first jump?
I wanted to continue to push myself to work through fear and discomfort in a sport that was brand new.
What’s the best/most memorable skydive you’ve ever made, and what made it so remarkable?
My most memorable skydive was my first self-supervised jump on student status. No pressure, formation, or dive flow. Just me being one at peace in freefall…and it was sunset load, need I say more?
If you have one, what’s your personal motto/philosophy as it relates to skydiving?
Courage is more exhilarating than fear and in the long run, it is easier. This quote helps me to remember to step on the other side of fear.
What three words would your colleagues/students use to describe you as a skydiver?
Enthusiastic. ROOKIE. Eager.
Word of Encouragement for First-Time Jumpers:
If you surrender to the wind, you can ride it.
