When you were a kid, were there any early activities that might indicate you’d one day become a skydiver?
Yes, my father always encouraged me to do extreme sports like flying and bungee jumping at the age of 9 and a few other activities that led me to skydive.
What was the circumstance that led you to make your very first skydive?
My older brother was a jumper and I wanted to be like him.
What made you want to continue skydiving after your first jump?
At the time of making my first jump, I had a pretty stressful life. Jumping was the one moment that cleared my mind and made me forget everything else and I loved it!
What’s the best/most memorable skydive you’ve ever made, and what made it so remarkable?
Jumping over the Alps in New Zealand – the views were the best I had ever seen.
What three words would your colleagues/students use to describe you as a skydiver?
Easy-going. Happy. Friendly.
Word of Encouragement for First-Time Jumpers:
I will tell them this is the best feeling ever. You are in the pure moment and it’s very peaceful.
