We will have free organizing available for all disciplines and skill levels. Whether you are fresh off of your A License or looking to shred some head down we will get you organized safely!
Be sure to check the organizer boards located throughout the main hangar to meet that days organizers!
And of course if you are a USPA licensed skydiver and this is your first visit to Start Skydiving, your first jump is on us!

Come out and join us for our annual Christmas Party!!! Hopefully the weather will hold out for an ugly holiday sweater jump before the potluck dinner and festivities begin at 6pm.
- The DZ will provide a meat main dish
- Please bring your favorite side to share with everyone
- Drinks are BYOB
- Be sure to show your holiday spirit and wear your favorite holiday clothing!

Start Skydiving Safety Day!

Get ready for Start Skydiving Safety Day 2018!!! We have a fun day planned covering everything from emergency procedures to gear maintenance and Dropzone fun for the season. Did I mention awesome raffle prizes?
Start Skydiving will provide a free pizza lunch, we only ask that you bring in a non-expired food donation for the local food pantry. We will also have raffle tickets available for our charity Blue Skies for the Good Guys and Gals Warrior Foundation so come ready to do some good, get your learn on and hang out with your sky family!
Come Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day the Start Skydiving Way!
What better way to look for the gold at the end of the rainbow than jumping from an airplane!?!
We will have a competition for the best Irish themed costume and the winner will receive FREE SKYDIVES!
We will have a Irish themed potluck dinner and festivities to finish the day. BYOB and be sure to wear green!

Basic Canopy Course
Ready to learn the essentials of canopy flight? It’s a great foundation for all ranges of experience levels and is a huge stepping stone to advance your skills and comfort level under canopy. From sharpening up your pattern and accuracy on landings, to learning all of the various ways to make inputs that allow you to have full control of your wing. Get in depth knowledge and understanding for the different flight modes of a canopy and learn the all-important emergency maneuvers that can one day save your life. This course will even get your USPA B License Canopy Card signed off. This course builds the foundation for a long, safe, and successful skydiving career.
Come get your learn on from Team Alter Ego Fastrax member Alex Hart who will be teaching a basic canopy course at Start Skydiving. Registration for this course is $150/day (This does not include jumps).
This course is for those who want to:
-Learn basic aerodynamics of canopy flight
-How to get back from a long spot
-Learn the flight cycle
-Different flight modes of the canopy
-Sign off your B-license canopy card
Be sure to come out for our monthly Sky Family Potluck Dinner!
Once per month Start Skydiving will host a cookout style Potluck dinner for fun jumpers, staff and friends. We will have the grill available for everyones use so bring your favorite protein, drinks and a shareable side and enjoy great company after a day of jumping!

USPA/Sigma Tandem Rating Course
The Jump Institute at Start Skydiving will host a USPA/Sigma Tandem Rating Course conducted by Brian Marzluf.
Candidates may earn the USPA/UPT Tandem Instructor rating who have met all the following requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Holds or has held any USPA coach or instructional rating
- Holds a current USPA D license
- Has a minimum of three years experience as a licensed skydiver
- Holds current FAA Medical certificate
- Has logged 500 jumps on a ram-air canopy and accumulated at least 6 hours of freefall time with no less that 100 jumps in the last 12 months.
The Course will begin Friday evening from 5-9 pm and continue at 8:00 AM Saturday and Sunday mornings until completion.
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your slot. The remaining course fee of $375 will be due at the start of the course.
Additionally each candidate is responsible for 19 slots (minimum) for the training jumps portion of the class, gear rental if required and pack jobs
